Downtown Charleston’s Fleet Landing Restaurant
Charleston's best "come as you are" casual seafood restaurant has a waterfront view that is a distinctive destination unto itself. Housed in a 1940s retired naval building on the east side of the Charleston peninsula, Fleet Landing restaurant features Chef Drew Hedlund's fusion of classic and contemporary Southern seafood fare in a setting that celebrates the area's waterfront heritage.
Lois and I ate supper at Fleet landing this past week. Our food was excellent, as it is every time we have been here. The service was quick and courteous. I truly believe Fleet Landing has some of the best fried shrimp in downtown Charleston.

Monday –Thursday & Sunday 11am-10pm
Friday & Saturday 11am-11pm.

Fleet Landing is one of my favorite restaurants in Charleston! Not only are the food and atmosphere great, but they are a restaurant with a conscience. They are huge supporters of our local sustainable seafood industries, as opposed to many of the other area restaurants that serve imported seafood. Their local single oysters are incredible! Make sure to specifically ask for local seafood when you visit a restaurant in Charleston.
