Charleston SC Real Estate Blog: The Heart Woodfire Kitchen on James Island
The Heart Woodfire Kitchen is located at 1622 Highland Avenue on James Island just one block off of Folly Road. The Heart Woodfire Kitchen opened in Mid December 2011 and is the creation of Owner / Chef Glenn Christiansen. Lois and I were there early on a Thursday evening, before 5:00 PM, we were greeted by the General Manager Devin Marguardt. The service was pleasant, quick, and efficient.
I had a hamburger and Lois had a blackened catfish sandwich. The food was excellent and the prices were even better. The menu includes soups, salads, snacks, sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, woodfired oven flatbread and much more. They also serve a Saturday and Sunday brunch which I intend to check out in the near future. Here is a look at the complete menu. Menu changes daily
The Heart Woodfire Kitchen is open seven days a week the hours are Monday – Thursday 11AM – 10PM; Saturday 10AM – 3:30PM and 5PM – Midnight; Saturday and Sunday Brunch 10AM – 3PM. Give the Heart Woodfire Kitchen at 843-718-1539.
