The Rice Hollow neighborhood in West Ashley is between the Ashley River Road and the Ashley River. Rice Hollow is bounded on the north by Ashley Hall Plantation road, the east by Captiva Drive, the south by Boone Hall Road, and west by Sandcroft Drive, and the is a rectangular shaped neighborhood enclosed by Cecilia Drive and Parkshore Drive. The Rice Hollow neighborhood has approximately 97 homes. The majority of the homes are stately brick homes situated on nice size lots with mature Live Oaks. Home construction in Rice Hollow neighborhood occurred from during the 1980’s. The home values range from $200,000 to $300,000 and their size ranges from 1,700 to 2,500 square feet. Rice Hollow is a nice, quiet adjacent to the Ashley River and with good access to I-526, yet it is just a few minutes away from the heart of Downtown Charleston, West Ashley shopping, dining, Middleton Place, Magnolia Gardens, Drayton Hall and much more.
