10th Annual Harvest Fest at the Mullet Hall Equestrian Center, Johns Island County Park

Saturday, November 5th, 2011 the Charleston County Parks and Recreation commission will host its 10th Annual Harvest Fest on Johns Island at the Mullet Hall Equestrian Center, Johns Island County Park. 

There is something for everyone in the family to do.  There will be excellent bluegrass music from five local bands.  The kids will have a blast going on hayrides, decorating pumpkins, a stick pony corral, lasso demonstrations, and much more.  There will be many holiday crafts to purchase along with some delicious southern favorites such as Carolina Barbeque, roasted corn on the cob, kettle corn, and more.  Cold beverages will be available.

The Band schedule is:  12:00pm Blue Plantation; 1:00pm Yee Haw Junction; 2:00pm Flatt City; 3:00pm Gravel Road; 4:00pm Blue Stone Ramblers.  

Own a horse and looking for some adventure? As part of the festival, Mullet Hall Equestrian Center offers the Harvest Festival Weekend Trail Ride for horse owners November 4 – 6. Bring your horse, camping gear, and supplies for two nights of camping and trail riding on 20 miles of beautiful, wooded trails at Mullet Hall Equestrian Center. Pre-registration for Trail Ride/Camping is required. 

The hours for the 2011 Annual harvest Fest are from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Mullet Hall Equestrian Center, Johns Island County Park.

Admission is:  $5 per person, and Kids 12 and under and Annual Gold Pass members are admitted free!
