Charleston Area Fourth (4th) of July Fireworks Schedule

Charleston area residents will have two sites to watch the Fourth of July Fireworks.  There will be fireworks at Joe Riley Stadium immediately after the Charleston River Dogs game that starts at 6:30 PM.  Fireworks from the USS Yorktown at 9:15 will be visible from downtown and around the Charleston Harbor.  Waterfront Park will be another good vantage point.

Mount Pleasant residents can join in the activities at the 14th annual Patriots Point 4th of July Blast on Sunday, July 4th! Beginning at 4:00 p.m., guests will enjoy discounted admission to Patriots Point. Stick around landside for live entertainment, enjoy sandwiches, snacks, sodas and water and, of course, the Lowcountry’s largest fireworks display shot from the deck of the USS Yorktown after nightfall (around 9:15). This “family-friendly” event is sure to be fun for all.

Kiawah Island Residents will be able to view two sets of fireworks.  The Town of Kiawah Island will have their fireworks display at the soccer field in Night Heron Park promptly at 9:15 PM Sunday, July 4th.  Kiawah Golf Resort will have their fireworks display on the beach in front of the Sanctuary at 9:30 Sunday, July 4th.  In case of inclement weather the fireworks will be on Monday, July 5th. 

Seabrook Island fireworks will be held July 3rd at 9:30 on the North Beach.

Folly Beach residents can attend the annual Fourth of July Independence Day fireworks display to be held on July 3rd at the Folly Beach County Park and will begin around 9:00 pm. Please come and enjoy the show.

Residents of Sullivan’s Island and the Isle of Palms can enjoy the Fourth of July Fireworks celebration front beach on the Isle of Palms at 9:00 PM.

The City of North Charleston is once again hosting the July 4th celebration at the Riverfront Park on Sunday, July 4, 2010 from 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM. At this year’s event, we present local entertainers, “Quianna Parlor” from American Idol, “The Blue Dogs” and “CoastRunner” along with other activities throughout the event, ending a wonderful day with a spectacular fireworks display at dark.  For additinal information visit:

Summervilleresidents can go downtown for a Fourth of July fireworks display in the heart of Summerville, SC.  The Red, White, and Blue on the Green is conveniently located in Town Square from 5-8 PM.  Fireworks will be set off in Gahagan Sports Complex located at 515 West Boundary Street.  Enjoy dogs, burgers, live music with Howle Brothers.

Moncks Corner residents can enjoy the Fourth of July fireworks sponsored by the YMCA at Short Stay on Lake Moultrie at 9:00 PM.

Goose Creek residents can celebrate the Fourth of July by attending the FABULOUS FOURTH IN THE CREEK celebration from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Goose Creek Municipal Center.  The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 pm. Guests are asked not to bring alcohol, pets or outside fireworks (including sparklers).  Tailgating is not permitted in the parking areas.
