The Capri Isles neighborhood in West Ashley is a quiet neighborhood that has deep water on three sides located on the West side of Wappoo Road next to the Intracoastal Waterway   Capri Isles has a unique location along the Intracoastal Waterway and among the grand oaks and Lowcountry marshes with most homes having private docks with direct access to the Intracostal Waterway.  The only access into the Capri Isles is by Capri Drive off of Wappoo Road.  Capri Isles neighborhood in West Ashley has approximately 90 homes and is a traditional Downtown Charleston neighborhood with nice homes. Homes are traditional brick homes with sprawling yards and breathtaking Live Oaks.

Home construction in Capri Isles began in the mid 1960’s with the majority of the homes being built by the mid 1970’s.  There are approximately 90 homes in the Capri Isles neighborhood today.  Capri Isles is such a nice neighborhood to live in that homes rarely come on the market.  The home values range from $275,000 to nearly $400,000 and their size ranges from 1,400 – 3,500 square feet.  During the past six months no homes have came on the market and 4 homes have sold during the same period ranging from $242,000 to $393,000.

Capri Isles is convenient for a quick boat ride to the Charleston Harbor or a short drive to the Downtown Charleston peninsula. The various waterways surrounding The Capri Isles allow residents the opportunity to fish, boat, and watch spectacular sunsets and sunrises from personal docks.
