The Stono Park neighborhood in West Ashley is between Savannah Highway and the Intracostal Waterway near at intersection of Savannah Highway and Wappoo Road.  The Stono Park neighborhood is bounded on the north by Savannah Highway, on the east by Betsy Road, on the south by Opal Avenue, and on the west by Wappoo Road.  The Stono Park neighborhood has approximately 166 homes.  The majority of the homes are traditional brick ranch and masonry construction homes.  Most of the homes are situated on nice size lots with mature Live Oak trees. 
 
The majority of the homes were built from the early 1950’s to the late 1970’s.  There are approximately 166 homes in the Stono Park neighborhood today.  The home values range from $100,000 to $325,000 and their size ranges from 1,000 to 3,000 square feet.  During the past six months 3 homes have came on the market ranging from $142,000 to $289,000 and 1 home has sold during the same period for $173,000.
